Someone just wont stop… chatting?!

What great embrasure – someone give this kid a trumpet! (seriously, the first person who gives this kid a trumpet will be killed by his mother!)

**Update – We have found the beginnings of a teeny white tooth.  It’s coming up bottom, left, front.  We have named it, Chauncy White-Strong.

Sitting up on his own?

A new milestone or just a more convenient way to survey the next bit of trouble he can get in to?

Eating? He does love, love, LOVE peas. Thinks beef n veg is pretty great. Farax? Well, the jury is still out, he’s not a huge fan but will tolerate it with some fruit. We bought some baby yoghurt last night but he hasn’t tried any yet.

Moving about? RUNNING commando-style everywhere! Has an interesting skill, is magically attracted to things with buttons, electrical cords and Mumma’s feet! He can get up on his hands and knees but has decided that skinning his big toe in his quest for QUICK-along-the-floor is a better way to go.

He loves his bath. He pounds the water with his fits and leans forward trying to coax the bubbles in to his mouth.

Favourite toys are still Casserole the Bunny, his Laptop (well the space ship off his laptop), ANYTHING with buttons. ANYTHING metal. ANYTHING anyone else is holding. Quite frankly, he’s getting very grabby!

He will turn himself inside out to watch when Jon Stewart comes on the telly. Ditto for any car ad or someone singing.

He thinks the Alphabet, when sung is excellent. He’s particularly fond of “E F G”. When crooned 10 or 12 times in a row, he will fall asleep.

Will not stay asleep for more than 6 hours at a time. Still wakes at 4am for a bottle or a chat!

He’s also enjoying the book for Spike Milligan for Kids collection. Spike’s writing is so lyrical and silly sounding, even to a baby. The Ning Nang Nong, a fine example.

In readiness for the return to life down under – he is now wearing sunglasses when we go out. He copes with them just fine! He’s also now in his big boy pram!

It’s ALL go. Like his mother, he is temperature intolerant. Not a fan of the heat. Cant shut up – chats n chats n chats – UNTIL you turn on the video camera then all of a sudden it’s tighter than a SAG or AFTRA set. Doesn’t want to work, still can’t speak the language but has an excellent grasp of his own gibberish. Basically he just takes and takes and takes.

Friggen perfect!
