B calls him the blonde turbine-powered wrestling maniac and wonders if there are any vitamin deficiencies we can give him to slow him down?! He and B were in bed the other morning and B said, “You know how he rolls over, by sorta launching a fist in the air and following it around? Well, imagine your eye being on the far end of that curve…” He’s big and strong. Blonde and pale. Funny as muck and into EVERYTHING.

He follows us around the house. Grabbing on to our ankles if we stop. He pulls himself up on to everything – stable or otherwise. He has discovered gravity but has an almost New Zealand backpacker like grasp of dangerous situations (head first without public liability insurance).

His new toy is a Sesame Street walker – which we got so we would know where he was from second to second. The first couple of times in it, he did not approve! Not sure if it was the gross marketing study of child friendly puppets 2 inches from his face or the fact that he couldn’t figure out how to steer it? Never fear, that feat was accomplished, quick sticks (or should we say, “qwuck, stucks”).

Tooth count – stands at two. Teeny, white SHARP AS HELL and on the bottom row. More seem to be trying to arrive but not in quite yet.

Crawling – alllllllllll over the place. Still commando style as it’s quicker. Consequently, everything he owns now has a grey front and grubby sleeves! *urgh*

Sleeping – when it damn well suits him. We still get paged any time between 2 and 5am. A small handful of times he has slept though. we celebrated those days and told him we REALLY loved him.

Eating – well, oddly enough he doesn’t seem to be a fan of simple carbs! Doesn’t like rice, lentils, oatmeal, rice cereal or bread. LOVES his peas still. Polished off a jar of carrots the other day and held onto a bit of celery at a party the other weekend.

Chatting up a storm. Still practicing his invisible trumpet/spitton – his trumpoon! Says MumMumMumMumma and BubBuBub. Im trying very hard to teach him how to say Daaaaaddddy! He thinks its hilarious when I say it, but wont repeat it.

He’s very giggly, affectionate, violent and funny. Wow, who does he sound like?!

Enjoy your June. Especially if your name is July.
