Stunt Driving…

Spike loves wheels. All wheels. Any wheels. He’s particularly partial to the wheels on his bike. Your bike. Any bike. He was given a little ride on trike, he loved it. He loved it to death. Here you can see him trying to save its life. Stat!

Ill Fix It!

This lil bike did 14 yrs of hard service and it was OUR wee boy who took it’s life. Viva le Bike!

He’d ride it full pelt around the house. Off the steps into his room. Up the step into the lounge. He’d fully slide it sideways into the coffee table, lean over and order a drink before taking off like hell on… well, wheels again. Here’s one it’s last stunts.

What does a boy do without wheels? Well, his Mum hits eBay and voila – here’s the new mongrel.

He has another trike at Nana and Papa’s but yeterday, he bent the wheel on that one too! It’s a much sturdier bike so Papa assures us he will be able to rescue and rehabilitate it before our next visit. He tried to do it while we were there but “Spike’s kinda help” wasn’t actually conducive to good bike engineering. Or so the foreman said.

Evil Spikevel’s been preparing for the new baby by pointing to things – generally things he no longer wants or is not allowed to have – and will say, “For the new baby.”
“Yes dude, the collapsed dummy is for the new baby. Thanks.”

Dunno if he’s going to be quite so willing to share his new bike. But that’s not our problem… that’s the new baby’s dilemma.

We all hope you have a lovely holiday season. What ever rocks your boat. Xmas Trees, Dradles or Goats in Fancy Dress. This will be Spike’s 3rd Xmas and he’s still not been introduced to Santa Claus. Mumma has though… so she knows where the good presents come from!
