Performing for an ever increasing crowd of amused Brunetti patrons, Spike added squealing to the mix. I called him over and told him to knock it off. He replied.
“But everyone’s watching me!”
Pff, SO his father’s son…

Spike is a baby cino connoisseur. And heads up cafes and the like – A GOOD cafe/coffee shop WONT charge the mother for an egg cup of milk foam and a pinch of chocolate powder. A GOOD cafe/coffee shop like Brunetti. Thank you, vastly superior Brunetti. (if you get your birthday cakes anywhere else, you’re a fool to yourself & a burden to others) A BAD cafe/coffee shop like Joe’s will try and sting you, $2!!! Shame on you Joe’s Garage in Brunswick Street. How far you’ve fallen. Boohiss!
Spike loves a ‘flat white’ after his ‘baby cino’. Our current favourites are, Brunettis (either the city or the original Carlton shop) FooDoo’s on Smith. A new place further up Smith that I can’t recall the name of… GREAT muffins. Retro have always done a great brekky – slow service kills the mood, but it IS great. Endis is cool and if push comes to shove, Mumma can whip up a cino here, please. (I charge a buck-fiddy. I am a BAD cafe/coffee shop – just like Joe’s Garage.)
And now, we’re all hungry!
Til next time…. someone turns THREE next month.
eeeeek!
